Alchemy Bikes Arktos 27.5

Denver-based Alchemy Bikes aims to build beautiful, high-performing bikes. The carefully crafted bikes have a great repuation among customers.

The Arktos 27.5 rocks famed designer David Earle’s patented dual-linkage suspension platform, Sine. The name “Sine” derives from the shock rate, which resembles a sine wave when graphed.

This suspension is regressive through the first part of the travel to absorb small bumps and provide climbing traction. It’s progressive in the middle to avoid wallowing on big hits or in hard, fast corners. And it’s regressive again in the last 15 percent of the stroke so the bike can use all of its rear-wheel travel.

It provides top-tier downhill capabilities while being efficient and responsive.

Normally retailing for $4,899, you can score the Arktos for $3,999. The offer is good on SRAM GX Eagle and Shimano XT builds for large or medium frames only. Take the discount in your online cart now through September 28.
