‘Return of the Turn’: Skiers Head to the Mogul Capital of the World

Looking for one of the best mogul resorts in the world? Look no further.

In this episode, professional skier Marcus Caston travels to Mary Jane at Winter Park Resort in Colorado to ski the “mogul capital of the world.” How’d it get its reputation for moguls? Well, Winter Park Resort is one of the only places left that doesn’t groom its runs — and for some skiers, that’s just what they’re looking for.

Here’s a bit about Winter Park in case you need even more reason to check it out. Elevation: 9,450 feet. Acres: 3,000. Total number of runs: 166. Number of runs in Mary Jane: 55. And the number of moguls? A heck of a lot.

“How many moguls will we have to smash to reach nirvana?” Caston poses this question before he throws himself into his first run to find out.

Skiers: Marcus Caston, Chris Tatsuno, Freddy Mooney, Julie Ray

Runtime: 6 minutes
