Standing in the desert outside Virgin, Utah, covered in dirt two weekends ago, I couldn’t decide which was sicker: Szymon Godziek’s 360 drop into a backflip over the 75-foot “canyon gap,” Brett Rheeder’s surgical run bristling with old-school BMX tricks, or Brandon Semenuk’s acid drop straight down the steepest part of the Red Bull Rampage 2022 venue.
Luckily, I didn’t really have to. I just had to watch.
