Powder, Froth, and Freeskiing Build Stoke in ‘Roots’ Film By Faction

It’s August, and that means ski season is almost upon us. Check out Faction Skis’ first teaser of the season and get stoked for winter 2021.

Faction skis just dropped its Roots trailer, a teaser for its first full-length ski film of 2021. Faction’s third feature film digs deep to “uncover the foundations of freeskiing, as seen by the current generation of skiers,” it announced.

From the caves of the Dolomites to Verbier’s snow-capped peaks, “Roots” should take viewers on a journey through the spectrum of freeskiing. “Transport your mind to exotic locales, and steep, snow-filled slopes,” Faction teased.

For now, you’ll have to content yourself with this one-minute teaser. However, make a note to look for a screening near you when the film drops in the fall.

The first screening will premiere in Annecy, France, with Salt Lake City, Portland, Denver, and Seattle screenings following throughout the month of October.

Looking for more action from Faction? Check out its previous films: This Is Home (2017) and The Collective (2019).

Produced by Faction Skis. Run time: 45 minutes
