As most ski resorts begin to wind down for the season, it’s time to pony up and purchase your lift passes for winter 2022/2023. Sure, next season may seem far away, but pass prices are as low as possible. No stress if you don’t have a massive chunk of change right now. You can still lock in these pass discounts by opting into a payment plan and paying a small down payment.

Spring Pass Sale, Snag Yours Now

A full Epic Pass, which includes access to 40 resorts with no blackout dates (plus access to partner resorts), is $841. For $49 down, you can freeze that price and pay the remainder through September. In addition, if you purchase by April 21, you’ll get 10 Buddy Tickets to use throughout the season.

These are great to share with anyone you like to ski with, especially those buddies who opted for a different season pass.

Ikon Pass offers various options and pricing, with the lowest pass starting at $249. They teamed up with Affirm to offer plans that start as low as $0 down and 0% APR. You can choose to pay in 3-, 6-, or 9-month increments. However, all Ikon Pass products (Ikon Pass, Ikon Base Pass, and Ikon Session Passes) will increase on April 22, 2022.

Renewal discounts and child pass savings will also end on that date. So, if you want to ski at any of their resorts next winter, it’s best to act soon.

Bonus Days and Bonus Rates

If you’re looking for a variety of world-class resorts to ski with no blackout dates, then the Mountain Collective pass may be for you. As a 2022-23 pass holder, you’ll receive 2 days at 22 resorts and 50% off each additional day at the Collective destinations.

The adult pass price comes in at $539 right now. And if you snag this pass before too long, you’ll also receive a bonus third day at the resort of your choosing.

The Indy Pass, which is back for its fourth year, is an affordable alternative to the Epic, Ikon, and Mountain Collective passes. This year’s base pass starts at $279 for adults. For 100 bucks more, you can get the Indy+ pass, which eliminates blackout dates.

Both options give pass-holders 2 days at more than 50 independent ski areas. If you use up your allotted 2 days, pass-holders can add more for discounted rates.

Fortunately, the Indy Pass returns with the exact pricing as the 21/22 season, at least for now. On May 1 and May 17, prices will rise across their pass offerings. However, there’s no current indication of how much that might be.
