As a wilderness guide and former Green Beret, Sam Alexander is a resourceful and duty-bound man. He credits his respect for home and harvest to his Native upbringing in the Alaskan backcountry.
From his conservation work as a guide to his role in restoring Denali to its Indigenous name, “Niveh T’ah’in (Warrior)” captures the gentle power of his simple life philosophy.
“My mission at the end of the day,” said Alexander, “is to take care of the people, take care of the land, to respect, and to live in a respectful way.”
