MTNTOUGH Expands Into New Fitness Lab After Private Investment
Fitness app MTNTOUGH will build an expansive, R&D-focused facility in Bozeman, Mont., to support its mobile and in-person workout programs.
MTNTOUGH Inc., the creator of a popular fitness app, announced the start of construction on a new state-of-the-art research and development facility.
The company will build the new headquarters in Bozeman, Mont., and hopes to open doors by this fall. Focused on physical fitness and nutrition, MTNTOUGH said it needs more space to accommodate a growing team.
Its new building will cover more than 8,700 square feet, according to a press release. A new studio will allow the company to produce the high-resolution video, photography, and podcasts it makes available to its app users.
The building will also showcase space for in-person training sessions and merchandising. MTNTOUGH said its visitors can expect a cardio and strength training equipment room, men’s and women’s locker rooms with showers, and a merch showroom.
Private Investment Paves Way for New Construction
MTNTOUGH’s announcement comes after a lucrative fundraising round earlier this year. The young company raised $500,000 from “a group of silent, private investors,” an earlier press release said.
The additional funding will allow MTNTOUGH to expand upon its daily content production. That includes on-demand workout programs, exclusive interviews, and educational videos from industry professionals.
The company’s app, MTNTOUGH+, used a development team of former Navy SEALs, Army Rangers, and physical trainers. Military personnel, firefighters, hunters, and mountain athletes now all use it, according to the company.
Those interested in trying the app can find it on the iOS App Store, Google Play Store, and streaming platforms. It costs $30 a month or $300 annually.
