Loic Bruni Brings New Specialized ‘Gravity Butter’ Collection to Fort William

This weekend, downhill superstar Loic Bruni brings Specialized Bikes’ newest ‘Gravity Butter’ kit to the Fort William leg of the UCI Downhill World Cup.

The new kit, named for its buttery-yellow hue, pays homage to smoothness and speed, whether spreading on toast or carving up the second stage of the 2022 World Cup schedule.

The collection includes everything a true downhiller would need to tear through trail from head to toe.

The Butter Gravity Race Jersey and pants build the base of the collection. The Race jersey’s long-sleeve design peppers ventilation features in critical areas to keep riders cool. It also has a casual crewneck collar for increased comfort.

The Gravity Butter Pants also keep coolness at the forefront with laser-perforated ventilation features. Patches around the knee and bottom of the tapered leg add toughness, helping the pants stand up to abrasions on the trail.

The Butter Trail long-sleeve jersey offers an alternative to the race jersey, with a considerable savings of $35 compared to the race version. It carries the same butter color but adds a few additional black accents that pop on the arms.

Aside from the staples of the riding kit, the Butter collection includes a variety of accessories ready to ride or for more casual environments.

Ride gear offerings include the Butter Trail Air glove and the Butter Techno Tall Logo socks.

The gloves put a premium on ventilation, as does the rest of the kit, via microvented palms and a breathable power-knit mesh upper. The socks’ underfoot cushioning provides a lightweight barrier between feet and the trail that minimizes vibration, and cuts back on friction and the potential for hotspots.

The Butter Gravity pant goes for an MSRP of $160, while the Butter Trail Short for men or women costs an MSRP of $130. The Butter Gravity Race Jersey costs an MSRP of $100, while the Butter Trail Jersey’s MSRP is $65.

The Butter Trail Air glove, Butter Techno MTB Tall Logo sock, and Butter New Era cuff beanie sell for $25 each. The Butter Tee’s MSRP is $35.
