‘LA Sucks for Riding’? Mountain Bike Pros Bust the Myth

In the latest entry to Canyon’s ‘Diamonds in the Dust’ series, three pro riders tell us a different story about LA’s bike scene.

Los Angeles is known for a lot of things — Hollywood, the Lakers, I-405, etc. But it’s not known for its bike trails. In fact, some folks might tell you it’s a terrible destination for cyclists.

All three of these Canyon athletes moved to LA for different reasons: to build a career, grow a relationship, or be close to family. They didn’t move out West for the cycling, nor did they expect much from the city’s bike scene — at first.

As you’ll see in “LA Sucks for Riding,” the City of Angels has plenty of options for all riding styles, from hard singletrack to wide urban canals. Take a peek.
