Kiwi Skier Sam Smoothy Unites With Lustenberger for First Descents

Watch the New Zealander return to big-mountain BC skiing in this short excerpt from Teton Gravity Research.

Like all of us, COVID-19 interrupted Sam Smoothy’s travel plans. But now the Kiwi is back from New Zealand and ripping around British Columbia once again — this time with his friend, Christina Lustenberger. The pair are two of the athletes included in Teton Gravity Research’s 2022 edition of Magic Hour

“Um, the entire thing,” Smoothy said with a chuckle at the start of this short trailer for his segment.

Check it out to witness Smoothy at work, then go catch the whole film here.
