Sometimes getting the perfect line takes some patience and a few tries. Last season, when Kai Jones was out with the Teton Gravity Research Crew filming Magic Hour, he learned that firsthand.
Jones and crew went to a number of different locations for his segment. But at each spot they tried, they ran into issues — the snow wasn’t good enough, or the snow was too good and the avalanche danger was high. They struck out at all of the normal spots Jones likes to ski.
That was until Jones got on a snowmobile with another Magic Hour athlete, Body Merrill. The two charged out into a new zone in search of perfect pow. And that’s exactly what they found.
And in perfect Kai Jones style, he started sending the crap out of every possible chute, pillow field, cliff, kicker, and wall. This is just a taste from the Jones segment from Magic Hour. To watch the full film, check out the TGR website.
