In ‘High Road,’ Adaptive Athletes Tackle Challenges Together
Cannondale’s new film ‘High Road’ explores the dreams, struggles, and triumphs of adaptive cyclists Meg Fischer and Jack Berry.
Paralympic cyclist Meg Fisher is on a mission. After retiring from cycling with a stack of medals and championships, Fischer was shocked to learn there’s a dearth of adaptive categories and guidelines in the MTB and gravel racing world. So she became an advocate for change.
Woven through Fischer’s narrative is the story of Jack Berry, a young parasports athlete from Missoula, Mont., training for his first race. By the end of the film, Berry and Fischer are drawn together by a shared passion for bikes, the landscape of Montana, and the thrill of the race.
