Get a Glimpse Behind the Scenes at Kings & Queens of Corbet’s
See what it takes to produce a famous livestream freeski event at 10,450 feet in Corbet’s Couloir at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
For most, skiing Corbet’s Couloir is gnarly enough. Hucking tricks off of and into it is next level.
Covering it to produce a live show for a worldwide audience of millions each year? Well, that’s a whole ‘nother animal. Evaluating the site for athlete safety, preparing the venue, dragging equipment to the site, and then, finally, setting up the show all pose major obstacles at the Kings & Queens contest.
“The gnarliest thing about this event is the week leading up to it,” 2021 King of Corbet’s Karl Fostvedt says in the clip.
So … not the actual skiing, then?
See how the folks who bring us the world-famous freeskiing event make it happen in this clip.
