From City Streets to Snowy Sheets, Henrik Harlaut Freeskis With Mad Flavor
Looking for evidence that Henrik Harlaut is one of the greatest to ever strap on a pair of skis? Check out this lengthy video for proof aplenty.
If you’ve been salivating for stellar ski edits to watch over the holidays, Harlaut has got you covered.
The legendary freeskier just dropped a video that plays like a greatest hits anthology. It begins in the wintry streets of Minnesota, where the Swedish skier grinds rails and walls like Tony Hawk on sticks. Then he moves to the snowy slopes of British Columbia, showcasing an ease with aerial stunts that defy any notions of gravity or the laws of physics.
Salute required two years to produce according to the video description, and sees Harlaut doing his thing alongside many of the world’s best freeskiers.
It shows “the dedication and unique lifestyle to understand Henrik’s dominance over nearly every discipline of the sport of freeskiing (from competition by becoming the most decorated Skier in the X-Games’ history, to the driest streets and the deep powdery backcountry),” the video description says.
But don’t take their word for it. This complex edit, interspersed with camcorder-style footage of Harlaut’s daily life, speaks for itself.
Runtime: 31 minutes
