Famed ‘Run Show’ to Make US Debut in 2 Cities in 2022
Run Show Chicago will bring together speakers, brands, and the running community for 2 days of events.
Since 2016, the U.K.’s National Running Show has been a must-attend event for runners across the pond. The show is coming to North America with a series of three events, the first of which will be held from June 4 to 5 at the DES Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill. — just outside of Chicago. Other shows in Los Angeles and Boston will soon follow.
Run Show Chicago is designed to appeal to runners of all types and skill levels. This isn’t a show that caters only to one group of runners. Instead, it will feature brands as diverse as ASICS, Xero Shoes, Altra, and HOKA. GPS watchmakers Garmin and Coros will also be in attendance. U.K.-based company Racoon Events is putting on the show.
In a press release, Raccoon Events CEO Mike Seaman said:
We are delighted to bring the hugely successful Run Show to the United States. Packed full of inspirational talks, educational sessions, the latest and greatest gear and tech, plus access to a host of industry professionals, Run Show USA is open to runners of all abilities. We pride ourselves on being able to bring the running community in the U.K. together, and we look forward to bringing this experience and this community-focused event to Chicago, Los Angeles and Boston.
Run Show Features & Speakers
Run Show Chicago will give attendees access to features like a Coach’s Corner, Events Village, Strength Training Zone, Pain Relief Zone, and Movement Screening Clinic. These features will allow amateur and weekend-warrior-type runners access to the kinds of experts usually reserved for the pros.
Attendees who feel like catching a talk can choose from over 30 speakers. The roster includes Mirna Valerio, Jacky Hunt-Broersma, Aaron Perry, Gary Robbins, Carl Lewis, and more.
A weekend pass will cost attendees only $15 — quite a deal if you’re in the Chicago area. Find out more and register for the event online.
