‘Eat Vert’: Attend the First-Ever Brooks Trail Summit Running Festival (It’s Free!)
Entrants can create their own running itinerary, run alongside pros, enjoy swag, and more.
If you want to run a lot of hills on your own time, meet pros, and circle up for trail running talks and community events, you’d do well to stamp your ticket to the first-ever Brooks Trail Summit.
The brand introduces the single-day festival on Aug. 13 in Snoqualmie Pass, Wash. The shindig, Brooks said, “brings together those who are ready to eat vert.”
However, the brand added, “It’s not all mud and games.”
Athletes who join in will gather, learn, and celebrate trail running with each other and Brooks pros like Des Linden, Joe McConaughy, and more.
The all-star cast of guests also includes the likes of Scott and Jenny Jurek. The pros are there to “share their experience and connection to trail running” with the group, Brooks said.

Inaugural Brooks Trail Summit
Festival-goers will build their itineraries by choosing from 100-plus daily activities at The Summit at Snoqualmie ski resort. All-pace guided group runs and educational seminars are on the docket.
And if you just want to vibe out and enjoy the little-spoiled beauty of the Cascade Range at Snoqualmie Pass, you can do that too.
Chilled-out options include low-impact nature hikes, complimentary 15-minute massages at base camp, chairlift rides at sunset, and evenings filled with music, wine, and local bites.
Tickets for the first-ever Brooks Trail Summit are free and available now.
The ticket price includes entry, all activities, plus food and bevvies. It also includes a welcome gift!
The first 300 entrants will also get a Brooks Stride daypack (valued at $120 MSRP) upon check-in. And everyone who registers will get a Stride fanny pack with their welcome kit.
If that’s not enough Brooks swag for your buck, you can demo the brand’s new shoes while you’re whooping it up.
“Now,” Brooks teased, “who’s ready?”
