Le Col de Cou hasn’t always existed as a sick spot to shred on a snowboard. Back in the day, the remote Alpine tract on the French-Swiss border hosted major smuggling activity.

Here’s the story of David “Vlad” Vladyka and the gang of snowboarders who first discovered its potential for riding.
