The 7.0 AT is the most compact of Horizon’s Studio treadmills, which are specifically designed for connected runs and streaming classes. According to the brand, the 7.0 AT boasts a unique motor and controls for a fast response to changes in speed and incline.
While the treadmill will help you stay connected to your favorite fitness apps and classes, it won’t lock you into any subscriptions.
Through the end of April, you can use code GEARJUNKIE at checkout to receive a free Bluetooth heart-rate monitor (valued at $50).

We already ran through the three Studio Series treadmills, but we focus on the 7.0 AT treadmill below.
When priced against the other models, the 7.0 AT treadmill ($999) could be considered the base model. However, it’s also the bestselling treadmill of the three.
The biggest difference is that its 20 x 60-inch run deck is 2 inches narrower than the two models priced above it.
Normally, the 7.0 AT treadmill isn’t bundled with a Bluetooth heart-rate monitor. But we’ve already told you how to make that happen.
Get Connected, Not Locked In
As a concept, Horizon Fitness makes its Studio Series for runners who like to use fitness apps and take classes during their workouts. But you’re not required to use any specific app or subscribe to any services.
The 7.0 AT treadmill uses advanced Bluetooth to allow users to connect multiple devices and stream media through its integrated speakers.
That means you can place your tablet or smartphone on the treadmill frame and follow your favorite online instructor or virtual courses through apps like Zwift, Peloton, Nike Run Club, and more.
The treadmill even has a quick-charge USB port designed to keep a tablet charged during workouts.
7.0 AT Treadmill Features
The big technology play in this treadmill is the brand’s Rapid Sync drive. It’s a motor engineered to react to changes in speed and incline triggered by an online route or instructor. This motor jumps between speeds of 0.5 to 12 mph and inclines up to 15%.
Horizon Fitness’ philosophy is that reducing this lag can help you stay in the zone, especially during HIIT workouts.
To adjust the speed or incline while running, the 7.0 AT has two QuickDial controls mounted closer to the runner. One dial controls speed, the other incline, and both respond to a forward or backward swipe to increase or decrease the settings.
More Treadmill, Less Hassle
If you’ve been looking for a way to run indoors and still stay connected to your usual workout apps, this treadmill should provide that without making you subscribe to another service.
We get that treadmills can eat up some space. So does Horizon Fitness, which is why the 7.0 AT is designed to fold away with an assist from built-in hydraulics.
What’s more, Horizon Fitness offers a lifetime warranty for the construction of its frame and components.
Now through April 30, when you order a 7.0 AT treadmill, you can add on a heart-rate monitor for free using the code GEARJUNKIE at checkout.
