Abandoned Mine Is Ultimate MTB Line: Brandon Semenuk’s Insane 100-Second Edit
For the sixth time in six years, Canadian mountain biker Brandon Semenuk rocks in Red Bull’s “Raw 100” video series.
The series challenges athletes and filmmakers to put together 100 seconds of footage in real-time, with only natural audio to showcase the “simplicity” of their sport. But of course, Semenuk still manages to take mountain biking to a whole other level.
In Semenuk’s words, this edit is the “latest and greatest” edition of the Raw 100 series.
Semenuk jumps up walls, throws tricks between ceiling beams, jumps off concrete towers, whizzes up and over trees, lands a tailwhip one-footed, and all but lets go of his bike. In these raw 100 seconds, he is demonstrating how to master obstacles.
And of course, it wouldn’t be a bike edit without an epic sustained wheelie.
Filmed in Merritt, British Columbia, Canada, in summer 2020. Semenuk and his friend Rupert Walker make up the production company, Revel Co.
