The New Fearless Bikes Vulture Titanium Gravel/Adventure Frameset Gets More Versatile
Brighton, UK’s self-proclaimed gravel-specific indy bike brand is at it again. Fearless Bikes has added to the Vulture story by releasing a new “out of bounds gravel & adventure” frameset in the Vulture Titanium. This time around, Fearless Bikes says that the New Vulture Titanium keeps the name and spirit of the OG ’18 Vulture but comes back heavily revised.
Fearless designed the new Vulture Ti frame with the longest of epics in mind, with contemporary out-of-bounds gravel geometry, and huge clearances that should give the rider a wide choice of drivetrains and tires to use.
The Vulture Ti will have a 68mm bottom bracket shell and 142mm rear spacing. Add this to the aforementioned big tire clearance, and you have many options. Fearless Bikes says they’ve taken full advantage of the “current generation of wide chain line groupsets, like Shimano GRX and SRAM Wide” and can boast 29 x 2.2″ and 27.5 x 2.4″ tire clearance.
Internal routing for 1x, 2x mechanical, plus Di2 is featured on the new frame. The Vulture Ti is running a longer wheelbase and a slacker front end than the previous iteration, which means more stability when you decide to take it on more technical trails or pack it down for light touring. There is an optional fork available with an adjustable offset for tuning the trail.
The seat post on the new Vulture Ti is designed around a standard road offset seat post, and the top tube and rider positioning is a little shorter than the previous model.
The drive-side chainstay incorporates a plate to maximize stiffness and tire clearance without adding excessive weight. This plate allows the option of running a 29×2.2″ tire while having clearance for a 44t chainring up front.
This new Vulture Ti frame and fork are equipped with stealthy inboard fender mounts as well as rear rack mounts for touring. the fork also has two sets of cargo cage mounts as well as internal routing for the use of a dynamo hub.
